yesterday night, saturday night, was the 50th anniversary dinner, so today, sunday, of cause there is 50th anniversary church service un my church, St.Thomas Catheral...
a lot of people attended today's service. more than i perdicted, i think. all the benches seem to be 10 ~15 people in a role.. that's quite a lot.. we will know the result next week, see how many people attenteded, last week there was about 306, can't wait to know how many it was this morning,
the service started at 10am till 12+ noon.. quite long too. there were something different today, deal to the 50th anniversary. the choir, many people join in today, walked out from the main door, in front of the church, not form the choir room as usual. the church benches are divided into two big roles. they walked right in the middle of the benches, straight to the .. what they called it?... can't think of the name right now. .. wow.. that was nice.. seeing them walked. a long queue... with white robes and red cloth on their shoulder..
we had the Archbishop for our preacher.... sounds very important.. lol.. it took about half an hour. then we continue on ....
........................................... and then ended with ending hymn.
i bought the a collar t-shirt with a small moroon red "50th" writing at the left site of the chest for souvenir.. and i bought the bookmarks too!! and photos of camp in Sibu.... ..
each family get to get a 50th annivesary book of the church.. the book is nice!!! awesome!
the book theme is "He cares"... in chinese.. cool...
